With SOUND NEW WORLD – heard for the first time in Switzerland – the duo Igudesman & Joo have created a symphonic adventure that combines music by Dvořák, Strauss, Beethoven, and Zimmer with choreography, narration, and comedy. With Dvořák's world-famous 9th Symphony “From the New World,” they embark on an epic journey through history, cultures, and the universe – from Native American chants and African-American spirituals to gospel, bluegrass, classical, and jazz, and out into space with Hans Zimmer's film score for “Interstellar.” A musical feast for young and old!
