Upcoming concerts
Something's happening in the far north! Iceland not only has a spectacular concert hall, the Harpa, but also an excellent symphony orchestra conducted by Eva Ollikainen. Together with the exceptional cellist Kian Soltani, they present classics by Elgar and Sibelius, plus a new work by Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdóttir – and, as the icing on the cake, local folk music.

This is the 77th concert season of Migros Culture Percentage Classics.
We present high-quality, new concert experiences featuring masterpieces by Beethoven, Stravinsky, Handel, Gershwin, Sibelius, Berg and Mahler. Young orchestras offer a new approach to classical music – innovative, experimental and full of enthusiasm.

All the details about our 2025*26 concert season:
We have decided on the 2024–25 season together with the 100-strong Budapest Festival Orchestra and conductor Iván Fischer. Their performance of Mahler's epoch-making Fifth Symphony has thrilled audiences in Geneva, Lucerne, Zurich and Bern.

On 27*28* January 2025, pianist Alexander Melnikov and the Belgian B'Rock Orchestra explored the many facets of Beethoven's 1st Piano Concerto. Standing ovations!
Learn moreThe musicians of the London Aurora Orchestra played Ravel's ‘Bolero’ on 28 October 2020 throughout the entire concert hall of the Tonhalle Zurich. The audience sat in the middle of the orchestra!
The exceptional orchestra ‘Les Siècles’ played Ravel's ‘Ma Mère l'Oye’ at the Tonhalle Zurich on 17*11*2024, while illustrator Grégoire Pont created live animations.
On 28*10*2024, pianist Alexandre Tharaud played Ravel's Piano Concerto in G major together with the Aurora Orchestra.
